Introduction
Be among the first sites to demonstrate improvement in your lung cancer screening program by undertaking a step-by-step performance improvement activity using the Lung Cancer Screening Registry (LCSR). Developed by the LCSR’s Quality Improvement and Education (QED) subcommittee, these activities are practical to implement using your LCSR data and represent important topics for improved patient care.
What do I need to do?
Complete one of three LCSR performance improvement activities
Provide feedback to the LCSR QED about the LCSR reports and support materials
Share your experience through ACR communication features with other LCSR facilities
What are the benefits?
Learn a step-by-step approach to improving patient care
Demonstrate quantifiable improvement to hospital and healthcare leadership
Obtain a $500 discount on NRDR participation for completing a project started in 2023 and completed in 2024 (for the first 10 facilities)
Earn up to 20 Performance Improvement (PI)-CME
For MIPS participating practices, attest to activity for your annual Improvement Activity
Contribute to a body of knowledge about lung cancer screening program improvement strategies
Consider presenting your results at a conference, e.g., the ACR Annual Quality and Safety Conference, or in a publication
