To help protect your account and secure access to NRDR, all users are required to enroll in Multifactor Authentication (MFA) as part of their ACR Login account.
Important
- MFA enrollment is required for all NRDR users.
- MFA helps protect your account and NRDR data.
- We strongly recommend enrolling in at least two MFA methods to simplify account recovery.
When Will I Be Asked to Enroll?
New to NRDR?
After activating your ACR Login account, you will automatically be prompted to complete MFA enrollment.
Existing NRDR User?
If your NRDR account existed before December 2020, you may be prompted to enroll in MFA when accessing NRDR through ACR Login.
You may receive the MFA enrollment prompt when:
- Logging in through https://sso.acr.org and selecting the NRDR application.
- Logging in through https://nrdr.acr.org using your ACR Login credentials.
MFA Enrollment Steps
- Sign in to your ACR Login account.
- When prompted, begin the MFA enrollment process.
- Review the available MFA options.
- Select and configure your preferred authentication method.
- Complete the verification steps.
- Enroll additional MFA methods if desired.
The MFA enrollment page can also be accessed at:

Recommended MFA Setup
While only one MFA method is required, NRDR users are strongly encouraged to enroll in at least two methods.
- Enroll one mobile authentication option whenever possible.
- Enroll a secondary backup method such as SMS or Security Key.
- Multiple methods help simplify password resets and account recovery.
- Additional methods may reduce the need to contact support when access issues occur.
